Despite the current pandemic threat, the San Jose Police Department is functional and remains committed to providing emergency and essential services to the community. However, in an effort to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Police Department’s Main Lobby has temporally closed.

Many of the services provided by the main lobby can be accessed online or by telephone.

Until further notice, the Department will not process fingerprints for pre-booking and warrants.

ALL REGISTRATIONS (290, Arson etc.) will be done via telephone.
Please contact (408) 219-6756 or (408) 859-3757 to complete registrations.

We appreciate your support and understanding. The Main Lobby will be open as soon as it is safe to do so.
