I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere commitment to the safety of the citizens in our great city. San Jose is a city rich in diversity and a great sense of pride. It is my goal as your Police Chief to see that our department provides the citizens of San Jose with the quality service they deserve. We value the power and effectiveness of community partnerships. The San Jose Police Department is always striving for innovative ways to improve our collaborative efforts with our community. I know that through the principles of integrity, fairness, innovation and community partnerships, that together we can make San Jose the safest large city in America.
