Tour the Selection Process
* Complete the Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ): This is a short pre-test screening designed to uncover any specific issues that will lead to automatic disqualification. This is REQUIRED prior to or on the date of your selected run/physical agility testing.

1.5 mile run

* 1.5 mile Run:
All applicants will have to run a mile and a half cross country course in a time of 14 minutes or less. This is a Pass or Fail event in which the applicants passing the run will be allowed to move onto the next phase of physical agility testing consisting of three events. One attempt is given each applicant to complete the run.

Wall Climb

* Wall Climb Agility: Applicants will run 15 feet, climb over the 6 foot wall and run another 15 feet. Cones are positioned to mark the 15-foot distances. This event must be completed within 9 seconds and 3 attempts will be given to each applicant to complete the fence climb. Pass or Fail scores will be given and only those applicants passing this event will be allowed to continue to the next event.

Rescue Course

* Rescue Course: Applicants will be required to lift and carry a canvas dummy weighing 85 pounds through a cone course, running in and around the cones. Applicants must complete this phase in 33 seconds. Three attempts will be given to each applicant to complete the rescue course.

Foot Pursuit

* Foot Pursuit:
The foot pursuit must be completed in 25 seconds. And is a pass or fail event. Three attempts will be given to each applicant to complete the rescue course. Applicants will jump over a series of four hurdles of varying heights, maneuver around the cones, and run through the tire course. foot pursuit
