2011 – 2012 FEE SCHEDULE
EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2011
The San Jose Police Department's fee schedule is as follows:

| Photos - Color | $6.00 each photo |
| Photo CD | $8.00 each CD |
| Public Records Act - Computer Research | $84.00 per hour |
| Traffic Collision Reports | $16.00 |
| Fingerprints | $20.00 |
| Audio Tapes | $11.00 for 60/90 minute tape |
| Vehicle Impound Release Fee | $198.00 each |
| Additional Tow Fees* | $175.00 each |
| Standard Vehicle Storage Fees* | $55.00 per day |
*Additional tow charges should be paid directly to the tow company. These fees include standard tow fees for the initial towing, plus a storage fee for each day the vehicle is stored, plus any additional handling charges. Tow companies will accept cash, personal check or credit cards as a form of payment.”
*For Crime or Incident reports, please submit a check made out to the "CITY OF SAN JOSE" and "NOT TO EXCEED $16.00.
In addition, you may call (408) 277-4143 for any request regarding photographs to verify the number of negatives. You will be requested to submit a check, "NOT TO EXCEED $.XX." This will expedite your request in the event that more (or less) photographs are developed.
All cashiers checks, money orders or personal checks should be drawn from U.S. bank only.
To further expedite your request, you may submit your requests with a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
