A group of gang members were walking on Hopkins Avenue when they were confronted by another group of rival gang members. At least one person from each group discharged a firearm at the opposing group. A 17-year-old male from one of the groups sustained a gunshot wound during the altercation. He was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and arrested on an active no-bail arrest warrant. There were no other reported injuries.
