Superior Court Judge wrote the following letter to Chief Chris Moore applauding two detectives for the work in a recent case:
Dear Chief Moore,
I have been handling sexual assault cases since 1989. Although the caliber of detective work at San Jose Police is quite high, I rarely see such outstanding work as I have seen from Russell Chubon and Kendra Nunes. The investigtion that they put into the John Moore case was incredible. Not only were they tireless peace officers, but they were also brilliant in their approaches and "noticing fine details" that led to the identification of alleged victims, as well as more evidence. It was a pleasure to have such excellent oficers in our recent trial.
Please understand I am not commenting on the evidence, the defendant, or the trial. I am simply recognizing superior police work.
Sincerely,
Judge Paul Bernal
