| A concerned father calls to thank police
The father of a domestic violence victim called to thank officers and dispatchers for their response. |

On 3/26/12 at approximately 6:31 P.M., Officers Mabanag #3446 and Fonua #3500 responded to a welfare check on an adult female who was a victim of domestic violence the previous day. Officer Fonua and Officer Parente #3094 responded on the original event. The victim's father called from his home in Palm Springs and stated that he hadn't heard from his daughter since the incident and was concerned. SJPD officers responded and confirmed the victim was fine, and the information was relayed back to the father. Thefather thencalled dispatchtwice to express his sincere thanks to not only the responding officers on both events, but to the dispatchers as well. Thefather was very grateful of the service that the SJPD team provided.
