Daniel Hahn, Chief of Police in Roseville, California, wrote the following:
On behalf of the Roseville Police Department I wish to commend Sergeant Steven Guggiana for his assistance in recovering an iPad stolen in the City of Roseville in 2011.
The iPad was taken from an unlocked vehicle in our city. The victim used the "Find My iPad" application and traced his iPad to an address in San Jose. Sergeant Guggiana assisted in contacting the residents at the address and was able to recover the victim's stolen iPad. Without the dedication and perseverance of Sergeant Guggiana this case would most likely never have been solved.
On behalf of our victim and the Roseville Police Department please convey my sincere gratitude to Sergeant Steven Guggiana for his assistance in solving this theft case and recovering the stolen property.
