The following is a synopsis of the thank you letter from Captain Wayne Kitade of the Elk Grove Police Department:
In March of 2012, Elk Grove Police Detectives were conducting follow-up investigation in the City of San Jose. The investigation revealed a possible narcotics operation. Elk Grove Detectives contacted San Jose PD for assistance. San Jose PD personnel responded and assisted with obtaining and executing a search warrant as well as arresting a suspect.

Captain Kitade also thanked Lt. Brian Ferrante for assisting on a separate search warrant relating to the case.
"The success of this investigation could not have been realized without the assistance rendered by these officers of the San Jose Police Department. All of the officers were courteous, dedicated, professional and willing to do whatever was necessary to get the job done.
