SJPD seeking public's help in identifying assault suspect

SUSPECT'S DESCRIPTION: AGE: Early to mid 20s
ETHNICITY: Hispanic or African-American
HEIGHT: 5'-7" to 5"-9"   WEIGHT: 190 lbs
BUILD: Athletic    HAIR: Black                    The suspect had short cropped hair and a goatee



 
San Jose:
The San Jose Police Department is currently seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in an assault causing serious injury.  On 5/6/2012, at approximately 2:30 A.M., an assault occurred in a restaurant in the 5000 block of Almaden Expressway.  The suspect attacked the victim without provocation.  Though no weapons were involved, the attack was severe enough to render the victim unconcious.  The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released.  The motivation behind the assault is not known.
