San Jose: On Sunday, September 21, 2008, at 6:25 PM, San Jose Police Officers responded to a Welfare Check in the 100 block of Roundtable Dr. regarding the possibility of a male that was thrown from a vehicle.
Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was assaulted by unknown suspects. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital. The victim died on 09-22-08. No suspects have been identified. Investigators are trying to determine a motive for this case.
UPDATE: 12-10-08
On 10-04-08, Rogelio "Cantaro" Mendoza was arrested in Gilroy in connection with this homicide. Mendoza was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for murder. The remaining two suspects are still outstanding.
