Victim Myung Shin Oh

San Jose:
On June 9th, 2013, at approximately 1:07 P.M., The victim Myung Shin Oh was physically assaulted by an unknown suspect under the overpass of Highway 87 between San Fernando Street and Santa Clara Street.  The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local area hospital where he remains as of Thursday, June 20th, 2013.  The unidentified suspect has not been located and remains at large.
San Jose Police Assault Unit Detectives have limited information on the assault and have not been able to talk to the victim due to his current medical condition.  In addition, detectives are asking for the public's assistance in locating any family or friends of the victim.  Hospital staff has been unable to locate or contact any family members. 
Anyone with information about the this case, the suspect, or the suspect's whereabouts, is urged to contact Detective Castillo #3303 of the San Jose Police Department's Assaults Unit at (408) 277-4161.
