San Jose:
We need your help in identifying the suspect responsible for a series of purse snatch robberies.
While each of the robberies occurred in a different location in San Jose, one recent theft occurred on Monday, June 29th just before 1:00pm in a parking garage at the Valley Fair mall.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned male in his mid 20's. He's about 5'-10" tall and was wearing a baseball cap. Witnesses say the suspect fled the area in a black mid to late 90's Volkswagen Jetta driven by another person. The car had a spoiler mounted on the trunk and a single antenna in the middle of the roof above the rear window.
This suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information about this case, please call Detective Jon Atkinson of the San Jose Police Department Robbery Unit at 277-4166.
