Update #2: 7-6-17

After extensive follow up by homicide detectives, the San Jose Police Department has identified and arrested a 30 year old suspect who was responsible for the death of the victim Leonard Daguro.  The suspect was located in San Jose on Thursday, June 29, 2017 and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for homicide.

San Jose, CA — On Monday, June 19, 2017, at approximately 1:50 AM, San Jose Police Officers were dispatched to a fire aid call of a male not breathing in the 2200 block of Denair Ave. San Jose firefighters located an unresponsive adult male victim who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

San Jose PD Homicide and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene. The motive or circumstances surrounding the death are under investigation. The suspect has not been apprehended. The identity of the victim will not be released until the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the victim’s identity and notified next of kin.
