SJPD investigating a Homicide in the 3100 Block of Cadillac Drive

San Jose, Calif. â€” On Saturday, February 3, 2018, at about 11:58 PM, San Jose police officers responded to a person shot in the 3100 block of Cadillac Drive in San Jose.  Arriving officers located an adult female victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.  The victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. 

Follow-up investigation by homicide detectives revealed that the victim was driving on Cadillac Drive with an adult male passenger.  An unknown suspect shot at the victim and her vehicle collided into several parked cars and a tree.  The victim sustained at least one gunshot wound.  The passenger was treated for injuries sustained from the accident. 

On Monday, February 5, 2018, the victim was pronounced deceased. 

The motive and circumstances surrounding the homicide are unknown at this time.  No suspects have been identified or apprehended.  

The Santa Clara County Coroner's Office is responsible for releasing the victim's identity.  This is the City's 6th homicide of 2018.
