San Jose:
On Saturday, October 31, at 1:15 AM, San Jose Police Officers responded to Southwest Expressway at Leigh Ave in response to a person shot.
Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was the passenger inside the vehicle when the shooting occurred. They were southbound Highway 87 just before Highway 280 when another vehicle pulled up to the side and fired multiple shots inside the vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead.
This marks San Jose's twenty-third homicide of the year.
