San Jose:
On Sunday, November 1, 2009, at 6:39 PM, San Jose Police Officers were dispatched to a single vehicle collision at N. King Rd. at Las Plumas Ave.
Preliminary investigation indicates the driver was traveling in a 1979, burgundy, Chevy, van, southbound N. King Rd. at Las Plumas Ave. For reasons that are yet to be determined, the driver lost control of his vehicle, went off the roadway, and struck a tree. The driver was transported to a local hospital and died on 11-2-09. A passenger was not injured.
