San Jose:
On Saturday, October 31, at 1:15 AM, San Jose Police Officers responded to Southwest Expressway at Leigh Ave in response to a person shot.
Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was the passenger inside the vehicle when the shooting occurred. They were southbound Highway 87 just before Highway 280 when another vehicle pulled up to the side and fired multiple shots inside the vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead. The investigation revealed the victim was at a nightclub called Club Rodeo in San Jose earlier in the evening.
This marks San Jose's twenty-third homicide of the year.

Anyone who was in the area of the night club or in the area of the freeway and may have witnessed this incident or has information regarding any altercation at the nightclub is urged to call Detective Sgt.
