DETAILS: 
On Wednesday, November 4, 2009, upon conclusion of the Grand Jury decision in the Daniel Pham officer-involved shooting, the San Jose Rules and Open Government Committee approved the release of the 9-1-1/dispatch tapes and police reports related to this incident (Item J.3.a. - Open Government Initiatives, Significant Public Records Act Requests, Consideration of Release of 9-1-1 Tapes and Police Reports of fatal shooting of May 10, 2009).
 
On Friday, November 13, 2009 at 12:00 PM, the San Jose Police Department will be posting a synopsis, the 9-1-1/dispatch recordings and the reports of the incident on the City Clerk's website at http://www.sanjoseca.gov/clerk/
 
At the same time, the San Jose Police Department will be holding a press briefing at the Department Headquarters.  The Homicide Unit Commander, investigators and other police personnel will be available to reporters in order to provide background on the investigation of this particular case.
