Update, 4/15/10, by Officer Jose Garcia #3532:
On Thursday, 4/8/10, approximately 7:45 a.m., utility employees located the victim's vehicle down an ravine on California state route 9 (SR-9), approximately one mile east of state route 35 (SR-35), in the Santa Cruz Mountains region of Saratoga. Human remains were located at the scene and taken by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office for forensic analysis.
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office has determined that the human remains are those of Ann Marie Vlahovich who was reported missing February 2, 2010. The forensic analysis revealed no signs of foul play and the cause of death remains under investigation. The cause and manner in which the victim's vehicle left the roadway remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.

On Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at approximately 12:30 PM, San Jose Police Officers responded to a call of a welfare check in the 800 block of Kingfisher Drive.
The reporting party called the police concerned that they had not seen their elderly neighbors since Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Upon arrival, officers located an elderly male in need of medical attention. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The elderly male's wife has not been located.
She is described as a White, female, adult, 5 ft. 5 in., 90 lbs, brown hair, green eyes, known to drive a white, 2001, Cadillac, STS, 4-door, with license plate number 4SYC855. This vehicle remains outstanding.
None of the missing person's friends or family have been able to contact her. She has no known medical conditions but must wear corrective lenses.
Anyone with information regarding the missing person or her vehicle's location is urged to call the San Jose Police Department's Missing Persons Unit at 408-277-4786 during normal business hours.
