Details:

Two suspects armed with weapons made gang statements and chased the victims down the street.  An uninvolved citizen was assaulted with a weapon by one of the suspects.  The victim did not require immediate medical assistance.  The suspect was located and arrested by officers.  The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.

Details:

Two suspects, one armed with a gun, robbed the victims of their property and fled the scene.  Officers arriving on scene located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle.  The officers stopped the vehicle and confirmed the two occupants were the two suspects who committed the robbery.  The two suspects were arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.

Officers working foothill gang suppression conducted several stops of individuals that resulted in a felony warrant, false identification and probation arrest.  In addition, officers conducted premise checks and foot patrols in gang hot spots resulting in 4 probation searches and 5 field interviews.

Officers received reports of a suspicious person believed to be breaking into vehicles.  Officers arrived in the area and stopped a suspicious vehicle leaving the area.  The vehicle had three occupants.  All three suspects were arrested for outstanding warrants, parole violation, burglary and possession of stolen property.  The three suspects were booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.

A resident in the area called police to report suspicious activity and a possible residential burglary in progress.  Officers arriving on scene received information that three involved suspects were fleeing from the scene.  Officers located the three suspects and confirmed they had committed two residential burglaries in the area.  The three suspects were arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall.

Representatives from the Police Department and City Council were present to answer citizens questions and concerns.   There were approximately 450 citizens in attendance. Their primary concerns were the increase in crime in their neighborhoods as well as the recent home invasion robbery and car jacking incidents.
