SJPD arrest Daycare Aid for sexual assault

San Jose, Calif. - The San Jose Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) / Child Exploitation Detail (CED) Task Force arrested an adult male (Suspect is believed to be a minor at the time of the incident) for Sexual Assault of a Minor Under 14 (felony) - Penal Code 289.

On September 13, 2017, the San Jose Police Department was notified about a nine-year-old who was touched inappropriately by a Daycare Aid at a local after school daycare program (Jumping Up Learning Circle).  The suspect was apprehended near the business without incident and later booked into Juvenile Hall.

San Jose Police Department's ICAC is working with the daycare program to identify other potential victims.
