SJPD Arrests Suspect for Possession of Child Pornography

ADDRESS: San Jose Resident
Suspect: Dennis LaTorre 

 

San Jose, Calif. - The San Jose Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force / Child Exploitation Detail (CED) arrested Dennis LaTorre for Possession of Child Pornography with a previous conviction 311.11(b) PC (felony).   

In March of 2018, the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children provided multiple Cybertip reports to the San Jose Police Department’s ICAC Task Force regarding the suspected distribution of Child Pornography. 

Follow-up investigation conducted by the Milpitas and San Jose Police Departments revealed the suspect was a San Jose resident who was required to register as a lifelong sex offender based on a previous child pornography conviction. 

On May 24, 2018, San Jose PD ICAC detectives served a search warrant at LaTorre’s residence in San Jose. Child pornography was located and seized. Suspect LaTorre was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail without incident for the listed charge.
