SJPD Arrests Suspects for 6-9-18 Homicide that occurred on San Tomas Aquino Road

San Jose, Calif.  On Saturday, June 9, 2018, at approximately 4:12 AM, San Jose police officers responded to a weapons call in the area of San Tomas Aquino Road and Payne Avenue in San Jose.  Arriving officers located an adult male suffering from at least one stab wound.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.  After the incident, three additional male victims arrived at local hospitals suffering from at least one stab wound each.  These victims sustained non-life threatening injuries. 

Suspect Adrian Calvert was arrested at the scene. Follow-up investigation led to the identification of 3 additional suspects. Warrants were obtained for suspects Gener Rabino, Noe Santillano and Mark Romero. All suspects have been taken into custody.

Suspect Adrian Calvert was taken into custody at the scene and subsequently booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for Murder-187(A) PC and 3 counts of Attempted Murder- 664/187(A) PC.

On June 12, 2018, suspect Gener Rabino was arrested in the City of Sunnyvale.  He was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for Murder-187(A) PC and 3 counts of Attempted Murder- 664/187(A) PC.  

On June 14, 2018, suspect Noe Santillano was arrested in the City of Palo Alto and suspect Mark Romero was arrested in the City of San Jose. They were each booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for Murder-187(A) PC and 3 counts of Attempted Murder- 664/187(A) PC. 

The Santa Clara County Coroner's Office is responsible for releasing the victim's name.  This is the City's 12th homicide of 2018.
