Suspect Arrested for Sexual Assaults in San Jose, Milpitas & Santa Clara County

San Jose, Calif. - The San Jose Police Department’s Sexual Assault Investigation Unit, Milpitas Police Department, and the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office conducted a joint investigation and arrested Icie Flores for 2 counts of Assault with Intent to Commit Rape (felony) - Penal Code 220(a)(1), 2 counts of Sexual Battery (misdemeanor) - Penal Code 243.4(e)(1), and Annoying or Molesting a Child (misdemeanor) - Penal Code 647.6(a)(1). 

On July 1, 2018 at approximately 7:00 PM, Icie Flores attempted to sexually assault a 17 year-old female at Eastridge Mall located at 2200 Eastridge Loop in San Jose.  Approximately 10 minutes later, the suspect committed another sexual battery on an adult female at the same mall. Icie Flores was located inside Eastridge by mall security.  San Jose police officers responded to the scene and arrested the suspect.  He was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for Trespassing (misdemeanor) - Penal Code 602, Annoying/Molesting a Child (misdemeanor) - Penal Code 243.4(e)(1), and Sexual Battery (misdemeanor) Penal Code 647.6 (a)(1). 

On July 2, 2018 at approximately 10:07 AM, Icie Flores approached an adult female and her child who was in a stroller at the Baypointe VTA Light Rail Station located at 97 East Tasman Drive in San Jose. Flores pushed the victim to the ground and committed a sexual battery. The victim screamed and Flores fled the scene prior to police arrival. Santa Clara County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene, investigated and documented the incident.

On July 2, 2018 at approximately 12:41 PM, Icie Flores pushed an adult female to the ground in the 5000 block of North 1st Street in San Jose. While on the ground, Flores attempted to sexually assault the victim.  The victim screamed and fought off the suspect.  A witness heard the struggle and called police.  San Jose police officers responded to the scene, however the suspect already fled prior to police arrival.

On July 2, 2018 at approximately 3:23 PM, Icie Flores entered a business located in the 600 block of Main Street in the City of Milpitas. Once inside, he struggled with the victim and committed a sexual battery.  The victim was able to push the suspect out of the business and call police.  At approximately 3:39 PM, Milpitas Police located Icie Flores in the 300 block of Main Street where he was taken into custody without incident.  

All three law enforcement agencies combined their investigations and Icie Flores was later booked into Santa Clara County Jail for the above listed charges.
