The victim has been identified above.

 


 

San Jose: On Monday, October 26, 2015, at 10:21 a.m., San Jose Police Officers responded to 25 South 3rd St. on a welfare check. Officers arrived and discovered a deceased adult female victim with at least one stab wound.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and suspect are known to each other and had a prior dating relationship. The location of the crime was determined to belong to a third party. There are no outstanding suspects. Suspect Castro will be booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for murder.

The identity of the victim will not be released until the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office confirms the victim's identity and notifies next of kin.
