SJPD Arrests Suspect for Lewd Acts and Sexual Assault of two Minors

San Jose, Calif. - The San Jose Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) / Child Exploitation Detail (CED) Task Force arrested suspect Napoleon Manzano for two counts of Lewd acts with a child (felony) - 288(a) PC, Oral copulation (felony) -  288(a)(b)(2) PC, Rape by force (felony) - 261(a)(2) PC, Sexual penetration (felony) - 289(h) PC, and two counts of Contributing to the delinquency of a minor (misdemeanor) - 261(a)(1) PC.

During the month of December 2017, Manzano met two minor victims on separate occasions using the social media app "SnapChat."  Manzano told the victims he was 17 years old.  He took each of the victim's to his residence, furnished them with marijuana and alcohol, and sexually assaulted them.  Victim #1, was a 13 year-old female.  Victim #2 was a 14 year-old female.

On January 18, 2018, detectives arrested Manzano without incident and booked him into the Santa Clara County Jail on the listed charges.
