San Jose, Calif. - On Thursday, March 1, 2018, at 5:00 PM, San Jose Police received a call from Sylvandale Middle School students who received threatening text messages. The messages made direct threats to kill the victims and "shoot up" Sylvandale Middle School.
Follow-up investigation by patrol officers lead to the identification and arrest of a 12 year-old Sylvandale Middle School student. The juvenile was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall for Criminal Threats (felony) - Penal Code 422.
