Homicide Investigation: 7-28-18 Stabbing Victim Dies on 8-2-18

San Jose, Calif.  On Saturday, July 28, 2018, at about 10:49 PM, San Jose police officers responded to an assault in the 1100 block of Topaz Ave. in San Jose. Arriving officers located an adult male suffering from at least one stab wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.

Last night, Thursday, August 2, 2018, the victim was pronounced deceased at a local hospital. The motive or circumstances surrounding the stabbing are under investigation. No suspects have been identified. The Santa Clara County Coroner's Office will release the victim's name after they confirm his identity and notify next of kin.
