SJPD Arrests 2 Suspects for Homicide that occurred on October 8, 2017

San Jose, Calif. - On October 8, 2017, at approximately 6:57 PM, San Jose police officers responded to the 200 block of Tradewinds Drive on a report of a person shot.  Arriving officers located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Follow-up investigation by Homicide detectives led to the identification of suspect Artierey Sherry and suspect Paul Soulik as being responsible for the murder of Lorenzo Nava.  Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for the suspects.

On August 30, 2018, the San Jose Police Department's Covert Response Unit apprehended suspect Artierey Sherry in Fremont and suspect Paul Soulik in Milpitas.  The suspects were booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for one count of Murder - 187 PC (felony).
