SJPD Arrests Suspect for 1-10-19 Homicide in the 1300 block of Darryl Drive

San Jose, Calif. - On Thursday, January 10, 2019, at about 9:24 PM, San Jose police officers responded to a possible dead body call in the 1300 block Darryl Drive in San Jose. Arriving officers located an adult female victim suffering from at least one stab wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

Follow up investigation by homicide detectives identified suspect Michael Ablaza, the victim's son, as the person responsible for the murder. On Friday, January 11, 2019, Ablaza was arrested by homicide detectives in San Jose and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for murder.
