San Jose, Calif. - On Sunday, January 13, 2019, at about 1:16 AM, San Jose police officers responded to a report of a person shot in the area of Parkmoor Avenue and Race Street in San Jose.  Arriving officers located an adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.  The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died a short time later. 

Follow up investigation by homicide detectives identified Ramon Fletes as the person responsible for the murder of the victim.  On Tuesday, February 5, 2019, the suspect was arrested in San Jose and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for murder.
