SJPD Arrests National Jr. Basketball Coach for Sexual Assault of a Minor Under 14

San Jose, Calif. - The San Jose Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) / Child Exploitation Detail (CED) task force arrested David Keiser for multiple counts of Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Minor Under 14, by force (felony) -  Penal Code 288(b)(1), Aggravated Sexual Assault, Oral Copulation with a Child Under 14 (felony) - Penal Code 269(a)(4), and Aggravated Sexual Assault, Sexual Penetration with a Child Under 14 (felony) - Penal Code 269(a)(5).

On March 31, 2019, detectives received information that suspect David Keiser sexually assaulted the 12 year-old female victim on multiple occasions over a one year period ending in March 2019.  During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that the suspect is a National Junior Basketball Coach in the Almaden Area of San Jose.

On March 31, 2019, detectives arrested Keiser at his residence in San Jose and booked him into the Santa Clara County Jail on the listed charges.
