SJPD Arrests Two Suspects for 5-16-18 Homicide in the 3800 block of Sierra Road

San Jose, Calif. - On Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at about 10:03 PM, San Jose police officers responded to a person shot in the 3800 block of Sierra Road in San Jose. Arriving officers located an adult male and adult female victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound each. The victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.

Follow up investigation by San Jose Police Department Homicide Detective Elizabeth Ramirez and Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office Criminal Investigator Mike Montonye led to the identification of the above listed suspects. 

On Thursday, April 18, 2019, suspect Sanchez was in custody at Folsom State Prison on unrelated charges. Sanchez was served with an arrest warrant for two counts of murder — 187 PC, and one count of shooting from a vehicle at a person outside of a vehicle — 26100(c) PC.        

On Thursday, April 18, 2019, suspect Martinez was in custody at Santa Clara County Jail on unrelated charges. Martinez was served with an arrest warrant for one count of accessory to murder  32 PC.
