UPDATE: SJPD Arrests Suspect Responsible for Vandalizing San Jose Veterans Memorial

San Jose, Calif. - On Monday, May 6, 2019, at about 12:20 AM, a vandalism occurred to the San Jose Veterans Memorial located on Park Ave. and Almaden Blvd. in San Jose.  

Tips from Crime Stoppers and follow up investigation by the Street Crimes Unit identified suspect Martin Vivanco as the person responsible for the vandalism.  Officers obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect.  On May 23, 2019, the suspect was taken into custody without incident in San Jose and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for felony vandalism and possession of vandalism tools.
