SJPD Needs Help Solving a 2016 Murder

San Jose: The San Jose Police Department is asking for the public's assistance to help solve a murder from April 18, 2016.

On Monday, April 18, 2016, at about 10:52 PM, San Jose police officers responded to a shots fired call in the 2700 block of Sand Point Dr. in San Jose. Arriving officers located the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound and was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene. The preliminary investigation revealed witnesses heard a brief altercation prior to the shooting, however, no suspects have been identified. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant John Cary or Detective Elizabeth Ramirez of the San Jose Police Department's Homicide Unit at 408-277-5283.
