SJPD Arrests Suspect for Possession of Child Pornography

San Jose, Calif. - The San Jose Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force / Child Exploitation Detail (CED) arrested David Kenneth Rhoads for Possession of Child Pornography (felony) 311.11(a) PC.

On Wednesday December 18, 2019, ICAC Task Force investigators received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Rhoads was in possession of child pornography. During the follow-up investigation, detectives located child pornography, and learned Rhoads had a history of working with young children through the YMCA at different locations throughout the City of San Jose. Detectives have served several search warrants as part of the ongoing investigation. Rhoads was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on the above listed charges.
