Homicide Investigation: 12-19-19 Assault Victim Dies on 12-24-19

San Jose, Calif.  On Thursday, December 19, 2019, at about 10:14 PM, San Jose police officers responded to a suspicious circumstance call in the 200 block of Stagehand Dr. in San Jose. Arriving officers located victim Thanh Xuan Luong suffering from blunt force trauma. The victim was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.

On Tuesday, December 24, 2019, the victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The motive or circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. No suspects have been identified or apprehended.

This is the City’s 33rd homicide of 2019.
