San Jose PD Needs Help Identifying a Bank Robbery Suspect

San Jose, Calif. - The San Jose Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the robbery suspect and vehicle pictured above. On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at approximately 1:16 PM, a bank robbery occurred at US Bank, located at 1099 Lincoln Avenue in San Jose. The male suspect entered the bank, passed a demand note to the teller, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was last seen leaving the bank in a 2010-2013 gray Kia Soul. The vehicle has noticeable damage to the left front fender and left rear passenger door. The plate possibly begins with "7W" or "7M" and possibly ends with "573" or “577.”

The suspect is described as a white male, 20s, 5' 9" to 5' 11" tall, thin build, reddish brown hair, wearing black Adidas hoodie, black hat with "SECURITY" on the crown and top of brim, aviator sunglasses, dark jeans, and dark shoes. It appears the suspect has long hair tucked into his cap. 

Persons with information regarding the suspect or vehicle are urged to contact Detective Todd Wellman of the San Jose Police Department's Robbery Unit at 408-277-4166.
