On March 1, 2025, at approximately 5:31 AM, San José Police Department Patrol Officers responded to a report of an in-progress burglary that occurred at a business located in the 2000 block of Lincoln Avenue. The adult male suspect forced entry into the business through the roof, and barricaded on scene when Patrol Officers arrived.
Officers broadcasted several announcements, but the suspect refused to comply with commands to surrender. SJPD entered the building to locate the suspect and utilized the SJPD K-9 Unit to successfully apprehend the suspect.
Suspect Plancarte was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for burglary and resisting arrest.
This apprehension and arrest was made possible by our SJPD Western Division Patrol Officers.
