The San José Police Department would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks to all community members that hosted, helped organize, or attended a National Night Out event yesterday. Your time and dedicated efforts are truly appreciated!

We had 147 local National Night Out events registered with SJPD to support crime prevention awareness and strengthen community-police partnerships. We would like to acknowledge the participation and contribution of countless neighborhood associations, community groups and agency partners that supported this effort, we know how much work it takes to organize these community events!

With the help of over 150 department members, in addition to our on-duty patrol officers, we were able to enjoy a fantastic evening of crime prevention and community building.

Our department members truly enjoyed attending various National Night Out events to meet the wonderful residents of our city and create lasting memories.
