On August 10, 2025, at approximately 9:04 PM, the San José Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious circumstance at a residence in the 100 Block of Danze Drive in the city of San José. The reporting party called police after locating a housemate who appeared to have been murdered in the home. Officers responded to the scene and located an adult male victim suffering multiple injuries that were consistent with being physically assaulted. The victim was not conscious nor breathing. Medical personnel arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
A suspect was apprehended at the scene. They will be identified at a later date.
The SJPD Homicide Unit responded to the scene and is investigating the incident.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner.
This incident is being investigated as the City's 18th homicide of 2025.
