On December 7, 2025, at approximately 2:58 AM, the San José Police Department received a report of gunshots in a parking lot located in the 2200 block of Lincoln Avenue. Upon arrival, Officers located evidence that a shooting had occurred, but no victims were located at the scene. Shortly after, four adult male victims arrived at local hospitals each suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Two victims had injuries that were considered non-life threatening. One victim remains in critical condition.
One victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
SJPD Homicide Unit responded to the scene and is actively investigating the incident.
The motive and circumstances surrounding the event are still under investigation.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner.
This incident is being investigated as the City's 25th homicide of 2025.
