On June 18, 2026, at approximately 1:35 AM, San José Police Department Patrol Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that occurred at a business located in the 5800 block of Camden Avenue. An adult male suspect entered the business and brandished a firearm at the victim employee. The suspect took cash and fled the scene prior to police arrival.

SJPD Robbery Unit Detectives began a thorough and comprehensive investigation. During the investigation, Detectives discovered evidence to suggest the suspect was associated to a string of armed robberies throughout the city of San José spanning the months of June and July.

The crime spree included a business located in the 2300 block of Stevens Creek Boulevard on June 30, 2026, a business located in the 1300 block of Blossom Hill Road on July 15, 2026, a business located in the 5800 block of Camden Avenue on July 17, 2026, a business located in the 2500 block of Fontaine Road on July 18, 2026, and a business located in the 2400 block of Alvin Road on July 20, 2026. The businesses varied from smoke shops, convenience stores, to motels.

Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Suspect Fiddler and a search warrant for an associated residence in the city of San José.

On July 21, 2026, with the assistance of the SJPD Covert Response Unit, Detectives located and arrested Suspect Fiddler in the city of San José. While serving a search warrant, Detectives located evidence of the crimes.

Suspect Fiddler was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for armed robbery.
