SJPD Arrests Suspects for Kim Hung Jewelry Store Robbery

On September 5, 2025, at approximately 2:05 PM, San José Police Department Patrol Officers responded to a report of a violent armed robbery that occurred at Kim Hung Jewelry in the 1900 block of Aborn Road. The preliminary investigation revealed that over ten suspects forced entry into the business by ramming a vehicle through the front door. Once inside, one of the suspects brandished a firearm at one adult male victim inside the business, while a second elderly adult male victim was violently assaulted. The suspects stole thousands of dollars worth of items from the store before fleeing the scene in multiple vehicles. The elderly adult male victim was later transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

SJPD Robbery Unit Detectives immediately began an investigation and identified seven suspects: Angel Herrera, Toddisha Mayfield, Zakhari Blue-Gordon, Tom Donegan, Jacques Samuel, Cisco Lutu, and Amari Green. Detectives obtained arrests warrants for all suspects and search warrants for their associated residences.

On September 22, 2025, Suspect Samuel was arrested by Dublin Police Department and is currently being held at San Francisco County Jail.

On September 30, 2025, Suspect Herrera was located and arrested in the city of Pacifica, Suspect Mayfield was located and arrested in the city of San Leandro, Suspect Blue-Gordon was located and arrested in the city of San José, and Suspect Donegan was located and arrested in the city of Manteca.

On October 2, 2025, Suspect Lutu and Suspect Green were located and arrested in the city of Antioch.

During the execution of the search warrants, evidence of the crime was located. In addition, Detectives located a firearm, loaded magazine, and multiple rounds of ammunition, and large quantities of suspected cocaine.

Suspects Mayfield, Blue-Gordon, Donegan, Lutu, and Green were booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for robbery. Suspect Samuel will be extradited to Santa Clara County Main Jail at a later date.
