The victim of the homicide has been identified as San Jose resident Eugene Davi. 


San Jose:

At approximately 12:41 A.M., officers responded to the 3200 block of S. White Road on a report of a stabbing.  Upon arrival, officers located two adult males suffering from a least one stab wound each.   The victims were transported to a local area hospital where one adult male was pronounced deceased and other adult male was treated for a non-life threatening injury.

The motive/circumstances are under investigation.  Officers on scene canvassed the area and conducted follow up investigation.  Initially, the suspect was not identified or located.  The San Jose Police Homicide Unit arrived scene and took over the investigation. 

Follow up investigation lead to the identification of a suspect.  On Saturday, February 20, 2016 San Jose Police located and arrested Anthony Tafolla.  Suspect Tafolla was arrested without incident in San Jose and booked into the County Jail.  The identity of the homicide victim will not be released until the Coroner’s Office has confirmed his identity and notified next of kin.
