SJPD Asking For The Public's Help in 2014 Homicide Investigation

San Jose: On July 29, 2014, at 2:15 AM, San Jose Police officers responded to the area of So. Market St. and Park Ave. in San Jose on a call of a person being physically attacked by a group of suspects. Upon arrival, officers located the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation. Preliminary investigation revealed the victim and suspects were involved in a verbal argument and the suspects stabbed the victim.

In an effort to aid this investigation, the Homicide Unit is releasing the linked video and photos to ask for the public's help to identify persons of interest.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Raul Martinez or Detective Jorge Santiago of the San Jose Police Department's Homicide Unit at 408-277-5283.
