San Jose PD Asking for the Public's Assistance with a Death Investigation

San Jose:  On April 3, 2016 at approximately 3:48 P.M., officers responded to a report of a possible dead body inside of a van on the 5000 block of Eden Park Place.  Upon arrival officers located a deceased body inside the van.  The decedent was later identified as Godinez who was associated to the above vehicle. Godinez was reported to have lived in the pictured van at various locations in the cities of Morgan Hill and Gilroy and would frequently have a dog with him.  Detectives are seeking information from the public into Godinez’s death.
