*Update (May 26, 2016)*

The San Jose Police Department has identified the victim as 37 year old Randy Ruiz.  The Santa Clara County Coroner's Office determined the cause of death was a result of a stab wound.

 San Jose:

On Sunday, May 22, 2016, at 4:18 AM, San Jose Police officers responded to the 200 block of N. Jackson Ave. on a report of a possible dead body. Officers arrived and pronounced the adult male victim deceased. San Jose Police Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Unit Investigators took over the investigation.  Cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Coroners Office.
