San Jose:   On Sunday, July 17, 2016 at approximately 9:51 A.M., officers responded to the 400 block of N. First Street on a report of a person deceased.  Upon arrival officers located an adult male, later identified as Garcia, who was suffering from at least one stab wound.  The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

The San Jose Police Homicide Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation.  The motive/circumstances surrounding the death are under investigation. 

This is the City's 27th homicide of 2016.
